What Happens If Price Increases Before Contract?

This is one of those types of scenarios that gets around the real estate broker circuit that makes the builder look bad, unless the full story is told. Usually,  the story fails to mention that the quote was made 60 days ago, and was good for 30 days, or had a clause in the quote that encouraged the buyer to purchase within a few days or weeks to hold the price. Builders don't tend to violate contracts, but resale owners can be even worse, especially in price-rising markets. So make sure what you are claiming to be the truth, is in fact the whole truth.
